New Spanish Representative -  Bienvenido, Jose Luis

Paying attention to our International markets, we are happy to announce the appointment of a new Ultra Tec Sales Representative in Spain, Jose Luis Guiu. Jose Luis lives near Barcelona. He is a very experienced faceter and we're proud to have him on the list. He has a beautiful, well-lit and airy, very well equipped workshop.

Jose Luis will be visiting the USA within the next few months to see his daughter who is attending Chapman University. The University is in Orange, a city that borders on Santa Ana, and so a visit to the factory is convenient, and we can meet him face to face, share some faceting stories--and, get in a bit of training.

Welcome to the team, Jose Luis.

Hard-to-get stuff:

Left-Hand Dial Indicator Attachments

That we now only make Right-Hand faceting machines has created an "accessory" problem for owners of Left-Hand machines, in particular the non-availability of LH Dial Indicator Attachments for them. Well, a few months ago, a faceter called asking about it, and it happened to be at a time when we were soon to run Dial Indicator Attachment parts in the machine shop - and I told him that if he'd place an order for an LH one, we'd make the needed parts - but he had to be patient. He agreed. At that time, we ran 4 or 5 extra - and to my surprise, they were all gone in about a month.

So, I've thought about it, and here's what I propose: if you want a LH Dial Indicator Attachment, and are willing to be patient, call in an order (the price is $196--we won't charge your credit card until we ship). Do you remember how the old-old non-sched airlines used to take off when the plane got to be full? Well, this will be something like that, so exactly HOW patient you need to be, I can't say. On the other hand, if you think you want one, place the order soon, or you may be told that the plane has already departed.

120 Index Gears.

Just to alert you -- 120 Index Gears, often out-of-stock, are currently available.

(When I go to the bakery, they are often out of onion bagels. I then suggest that they should make more of them. They always nod that I'm right. Next time, they're out of onion bagels again. If they knew me better, they'd suggest I run more 120 Index Gears, so I could nod and say they're right. Somehow, certain things are just destined to be in short supply, no matter what planning goes into it).

Anyhow, now's the time to get a 120 if you want one (Click here to go to Price list). The 120 index is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (and, of course, multiples thereof), so, it's a "combo" Index Gear that does what 64+96+72+80 do.
