The new BA5T lap being made by ULTRA TEC under license from Gearloose lives up to its claims of being an award-winning lap with better and faster finishes resulting in flat facets and precision meets.  I used my ULTRA TEC BA5T with 60,000 PCD DIASTIK and a few drops of Snake Oil on a medium size peridot gemstone.  It only took me two facets to setup the lap and I was off and polishing.  The facets came in flat with no rounding.  The polish was a true 60,000 with no blushes or marks left from the lap.  The new BA5T from ULTRA TEC was a joy to use and the results were a professional grade gemstone.
